Marra Mamba Tigers Eye
The rippled band of color often resembles a scenic view. Marra Mamba is a form of tigers iron found in one area of Australia near Mount Brockman. It is a very rare type of tiger iron that contains shades of red, green, yellow, and blue. This particular Marra Mamba has been mined out for many years, however, the lovely stone that adorns this art nouveau style necklace was rescued from an antique broach and has been given new life in this one of a kind necklace.
This exceptional looking piece of Marra Mamba tiger's from Australia looks like the evening sun setting behind a mountain range. It has a greenish cast with shades of brown, golden yellow, red and blue veining.
This semi-precious stone is set using free form molding and Art Nouveau silversmithing techniques.
